Overview
Bacteria: Life & Death is a calm simulation game where you guide a tiny microbe colony through changing conditions. It mixes idle growth, light physics, and science themes as you feed bacteria, manage temperature, and react to hazards like viruses, mutations, and toxic spills.
Goal
Your goal is to keep the colony alive and growing by balancing food and environmental conditions. Complete each stage by maintaining a healthy population while adapting to new threats and shifts that can wipe out your microbes.
Controls
- Desktop: Move the mouse over the petri dish to guide the food source, and click power-ups or control buttons.
- Mobile: Drag your finger over the dish to move food, and tap power-ups or buttons to change heat, cold, and toxin settings.
How do I feed the bacteria?

What can make the colony die?
Starvation, freezing temperatures, toxins, viruses, and other stage hazards can shrink or destroy the population.
How do I control the environment?
Use the bottom buttons and power-ups to adjust heat, cold, and toxins while watching the population meter.
